Customization Technology

CERF is designed for extensibility. Our flexible architecture minimizes configuration and customization costs. Likewise, our testing scripts and deployment procedures are well documented.

Professional Services-related expenses, such as software development, customization, and integration, are typically small compared to software license costs. Complete software validation services are also available but may require a more substantial financial commitment.

Basic Customization Services
Rescentris provides software configuration, customization, and integration services. These services can be purchased by the hour (in-house) or by the day (in-house/on site). Customization services are discounted when purchased with the initial product.

Customized CERF software may be delivered in advance of a release cycle. More often, CERF modifications are rolled into a mainstream product release and delivered to all customers. CERF Business Policy settings control which new functionality is available to users.

The Rescentris Professional Services team meets specific customer requirements for projects including:

Organization Type Project
Pharmaceutical One click integration with Amphora PatentSafe system for managing PDF experiment record generated by CERF
Research organization Custom PDF printing and reporting solution
Research institution Semantic Image Annotation notebook plug-in
Government ‘Single sign on’ customization
Various Distributed data management
University Notebook printing components
LDAP integration project
For extensive development or customization projects, we use third party organizations chosen by us or by our customers; we welcome working with your favorite service providers.

Source Code Licensing
Customers interested in major customization should consider a CERF Source Code Licensing, including documentation and training. This option gives the customer complete control and ownership over its in house ELN technology investment. Code version will be maintained as current licensed release.
