Columbus, OH – Jan. 23, 2007 - Rescentris received the award for helping customers maximize efficiency gains by deploying its ELN to replace paper-based lab records and documents scattered across their organizations. “I am very proud of our entire team,” said Rescentris CEO Dr. Adel Mikhail. “It was their efforts and constant drive to deliver the highest level of service to our customers that enabled us to win this TopCAT award.” He continued, “We’re glad to represent Ohio. Our origins trace back to the BTC technology incubator ten years ago, and Third Frontier funding from the State in collaboration with OSU BioMedical Informatics was critical to our success.” The TopCAT Awards are the premier technology event in Ohio. The gala ceremony drew more than 750 executives to recognize the year’s outstanding achievements in technology leadership. Award winners were chosen from hundreds of entries across the region.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized like this in your own community, and among so many outstanding finalists,” stated Rescentris CSO Dr. Jeff Spitzner, who received the award at the event. “TechColumbus and the sponsors put on a very impressive program.” TechColumbus’ 2006 TopCAT Awards was supported by many of the leading organizations in Central Ohio, including major sponsors Battelle, Calfee, Time Warner Cable Business Class, and Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS).
