For a successful CERF ELN software system implementation, our customers must provide a suitable computer and network hardware environment.

iPad Requirements

iCERF Client – application specifically for the Apple iPad
iCERF works with iOS 5 and higher

Client Application Requirements

CERF Client – end user desktop computer workstations on a local area network
Any OS that supports Java 1.6 or higher, including:

Database

MySQL is the default database provided at no charge and supported by Rescentris. 
Oracle, SQL Server and other databases may be accommodated, yet may require additional professional services.

A single dedicated CERF Server is recommended, however virtualization and distributed systems may be accommodated. Virtual systems must be equivalent to or exceed specifications listed above.  (Additional professional services may be required and some restrictions may apply.)
